Annual Crab Feed

"Catch of the Day" Crab Feed Returns to the Key Pen Civic Center.

The Key Peninsula Civic Center invites everybody to our annual fundraiser Crab Feed on Saturday, February 15th, 4-7p.m. In addition to the very fresh Pacific Coast Coast Dungeness crab, the dinner will include spaghetti, Caesar salad, garlic bread and coffee and tea; soda, beer and wine for will be available for sale. As with past years, attendees are requested to bring their own seafood crackers and picks for crab cracking.

Tickets are $30 for adults and $10 for children six to 12 years; children under six are free. Tickets may be purchased Blend Wine Shop and Sunnycrest Nursery and Floral, in Key Center, or at the Key Peninsula Civic Center, in Vaughn, or online (here on BPT). Tickets will be sold at the door, depending on availability.

This annual event provides many of our local youth with an opportunity to give back to the community and show the pride they have in the care and maintenance of the civic center. This year's roster of youth volunteers includes Boy Scout Troop #220, Cub Scout Pack #222, Girl Scouts Troop #40956, and the Key Peninsula Youth Council.

All proceeds benefit the Key Peninsula Civic Center. The civic center is a non-profit organization promoting the welfare of the Key Peninsula, its citizens and the surrounding area. The organization strives to instill civic consciousness through active participation in constructive projects that will improve the community.

Many non-profit and support organizations call the Civic Center home, including Boy Scout Troop #220, Fresh Food Revolution Co-op, KP Historical Society, KP Lions Club, KP Senior Society, and Two Waters Arts Alliance.
