Let's Do Lunch for Dragon Boat Charleston at Halls Chophouse Thursday, Jan 23rd

Join us Thursday, January 23 for a casual and enjoyable lunch to celebrate and benefit Dragon Boat Charleston, promoting physical and mental wellness among cancer survivors and their community.

Tickets are $29 per person. Seating is limited and, if you know Hall's Chophouse, you know this opportunity for a fun, 3-Course luncheon will sell out quickly.

Bring your old friends and make new ones at this great networking event at Halls Chophouse with an imaginative three-course meal prepared by Executive Chef Matthew Niessner.

Since 2003, Dragon Boat Charleston (DBC) has been enjoying the ancient Chinese sport of dragon boating on the beautiful Ashley River. DBC has been paddling hard with the mission of promoting physical and mental wellness among cancer survivors and their community.

Whether you are an experienced paddler, a "newbie," a cancer survivor or community paddler, Dragon Boat Charleston has a boat for you. DBC members can be seen almost any day of the week on the river, preparing for upcoming races, pushing themselves to physical limits or enjoying the sunset while on a paddling break.

DBC participates in 5 to 6 races per year, has off-season programs like yoga and nutrition and numerous social and recreational gatherings throughout the year. Some call it a "floating support group," some call it a family.

Whatever it is, it's fun! Help promote awareness and support of Dragon Boat Charleston and enjoy a delicious three-course meal, Halls Chophouse-style. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and lunch is served promptly at noon.

Halls Chophouse is located at 434 King Street in downtown Charleston. Parking is available at the Visitors Center Garage on Ann Street between King and Meeting, the City Garage near the Hampton Inn on John Street, or at meters on the street.
