Jeffrey Lewis & The Voltage (NYC, Moshi Moshi/Don Giovanni Records) Acclaimed indie-rock songwriter (and comic book artist) Jeffrey Lewis began recording homemade cassettes in New York City in 1998, and signed to Rough Trade Records in 2001. Many albums and comix later, Jeffrey continues to wring folksy spiel and garage bohemianism from his distortion-fueled guitar work and his often subversive onstage artwork.

Dylan Patrick Ward (Insta @dylanpatrickwardmusic)
A singer-songwriter from Vermonts dirty south, Dylan Patrick Ward writes darkly comical, highly specific and nicely-melodic songs about oddballs, outcasts, snowmen, aliens and love. Though his outlook can at times seem bleak and cynical, underneath is a beating heart of empathy and hope. Influences include the Mountain Goats, Daniel Johnston, John Prine and The Simpsons.
