Winter Yoga Camp

In this retreat we will take the opportunity to step away from our day-to-day activities to reflect and recharge. The practice of yoga is a self-reflective practice that encourages us to radiate wholeness, presence and aliveness.

Our private retreat destination, Avalon Hot Springs, offers rustic cabins, hot mineral pools, and organic vegan meals in a location that emanates qualities to nurture our fundamental aliveness.

You will be guided through a comprehensive approach to the practice of yoga. We will practice various yoga postures, breathing exercises, meditation techniques, chanting and critical thinking to revitalize our being within community. The aim is to invigorate us to experience personal joy and be reflections of love and kindness. It will be a time to connect with self, others and nature.

$350-400 sliding scale, includes 2nights/3days of Organic Vegan Meals, Shared Rustic Cabins (for two), Mineral Hot Springs and a transformative yoga experience.

The featured teacher:

Broderickreceived his Yoga teacher training from Mount Madonna Center under the
guidance of Sri Baba Hari Dass.He also has a PhD in Chemical Engineering and received a Doctorate of Naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University.Broderickis an educator and workshop facilitator encouraging personal development and self-awareness using the science of Yoga.

Slam produces a variety of summer camp themed trips for grown ups, including Yoga Camp, Queer Camp and Bike Camp. All camps benefit youth programs of a similar theme.
