ILLUMINATE
The IFAA middle school dance majors would like to illuminate the audience about the art form of dance to build dance literacy for the Treasure Valley community. Dance is a performing art form. Performance and Choreography are at the core of the Idaho Fine Arts Academy Dance Major Curriculum. This is IFAA middle school dance major's formal dance concert with IFAA musical guests. The concert showcases contemporary modern dance, ballet, Latin dance, and classical and contemporary music. The choreography was created by professional guest artists, IFAA dance majors, and Rachel Swenson. The formal spring concert is a professional experience to help students be career and college-ready in dance. All concert proceeds benefit the IFAA dance or music programs for future artists in residencies and formal concert productions.
