Brian McLaren at The Well
Noted Christian teacher Brian McLaren joins The Well during its winter and spring focus on Spiritual Identity, Multifaith World. He will speak from his book "Why Did Jesus, Moses, the Buddha, and Mohammed Cross the Road," in which he explores how to maintain both a strong Christian identity while also living with compassion, understanding, and respect for other religions. He will also speak about how a new emerging Christianity not only makes room for such wideness, but how generosity must exist in this new phase of Christian expression.
A frequent guest on television, radio, and news media programs, he has appeared on All Things Considered, Larry King Live, Nightline, and Religion and Ethics Newsweekly. His work has also been covered in Time (where he was listed as one of American's 25 most influential evangelicals), Christianity Today, Christian Century, the Washington Post, Huffington Post, CNN.com, and many other print media.
