The Afternoon Carriage House Salon Continues!: Second Saxy Sunday Afternoon in the Garden!
On Sunday, March 13th at 4 PM the Carriage House Salon continues, OUTDOORS! The program will be a "Saxy afternoon in the garden! - Take 2". The group is the "Second Time Around". They have played together as the Urquhart Band for many years and will feature a concert of Rock, classical 50's, jazz, ragtime and just about every style music. The program will also include some Irish music to celebrate the upcoming St. Patrick's Day.
So many people enjoyed this group at our the last musicale in October, we've decided to bring them back again to our outdoor concert series. We plan to continue this series as long as weather and Covid-19 permits.
Tables will be available for family and friends wanting to sit together in tables of 4 or more. Assembly style seating will be set up with plenty of room for social distancing. Vaccines are required for all attendees, including our performers.
The band consists of the following members:
Dan Kaufman soprano sax
Teresa Minervini baritone sax
Dave Ferree alto sax
Bruce Devens tenor sax
Following the music there will be a champagne reception with light refreshments all packaged in individual containers.
The cost is $25 per person and reservations are necessary. Reservation can also be made by calling Richelle Lieberman @ 510.381.1973 Please enter the Pardee Home Garden through the white gate at 1135 Castro St (between 11th & 12th St).
