It is the million dollar question housing providers ask. Join us as we address this question with the best practices and steps to address a resident hoarding on your property. Do you know that before you evict a resident you should first find out if the resident has a disability? If there is a disability present, the law requires you to ask the resident iif there is anything that would allviate the problem they are being evicted for? This is all about offering Reasonable Accommodations.
Because chronic hoarding and dealing with residents that hoard is quite a chellenge, the Virginia Fair Housing Office has taken steps to learn about this disease.
