ALBUQUERQUE CHAMBER SOLOISTS RETURN TO THE STAGE
Albuquerque Chamber Soloists makes its long-awaited return to live in-person performances on Sunday, January 9, at 3:00 PM, at our long-time venue, St. Paul Lutheran Church!
Our program includes Beethoven's Sonata for Violin and Piano, op. 12 nr.1, "Castillo Interior", a duet for violin and cello by Peteris Vasks, and the stunning Piano Quintet in C minor, Op. 1 by Ernst von Dohnanyi.
Two of the performers on our concert will make their debuts with ACS, pianist Judith Gordon and New Mexico Philharmonic principal violist Laura Tait Chang. They will join long-time ACS regulars violinists David Felberg and Megan Holland, and cellist James Holland.
To keep our concerts as COVID-safe as possible, we will follow the practice of our fellow performing organizations and require proof of vaccination and masks. Also, we will perform this concert without intermission and will, for the time being, forego holding our pre-concert receptions.
