Winter Village Music Camp

Winter Village Music Camp finally returns from Thursday, March 17 to Sunday, March 20. Featured faculty include Bruce Molsky, Liz Holmes, Alex Hargreaves, Tony Trischka, Jefferson Hamer, Paula Bradley, Joe Crookston, Chris Luquette, Dave Davies, Tim Ball, Benny Bleu, Paul Fairbanks and Rick Manning with more to be announced soon. Instruction will be offered on the fiddle, banjo, mandolin, guitar, singing and songwriting in a variety of styles including bluegrass, old time, folk, and Irish. The camp is being held at La Tourelle, a lovely family-owned 55 room boutique hotel. Proof of vaccination will be required for all teachers, volunteers and attendees. Other safety protocols may be required such as wearing masks, depending on guidance provided by La Tourelle management and the Tompkins County Health Department.

The weekend will begin with a St. Patricks Day concert on Thursday, the 17th from 7:30 to 9:00pm featuring Liz Knowles on fiddle and Jefferson Hamer on guitar and vocals, with some special guests.

Camp workshops will begin on Friday afternoon and continue through Sunday at 12 noon.

This year, the Camp Faculty concert will be on Sunday, 3/20 from 2pm to 4pm.
