In these hands-on cooking classes Chef and Nutritionist Katie Reineberg will guide you through simple, seasonal, healthy recipes to kick-start your culinary resolutions. You'll discuss portion control and meal planning and learn essential cooking techniques like knife skills, healthy baking, and more!
Week Two Sunday, January 19 Healthy Farmers Market Finds In this week's session we're making a three-course meal inspired by Winter fruits and vegetables. We'll cover techniques like grilling, sautéing and roasting, all while discuss how to stock your pantry with local, seasonal ingredients. MENU Quinoa with Roasted Mushrooms and Spinach Grilled Pork Loin with Apple Cider Glaze Savory Shallot and Herb-Stuffed Apples
Week Three Sunday, January 26 Comfort Foods, the Healthy Way Learn how to recreate your favorite calorie and fat-laden foods using Healthy ingredient substitutions as we whip up three comforting recipes (including dessert!) with no butter, cream, or sodium-laden condensed soup.
