Stanton's 4th Wall presents Another Olde Time Radio Show
Relive the Golden Age of Radio with S4W
The Golden Age of Radio lasted from 1929 with the debut of radio shows like True Detective Mysteries, National Farm and Home Hour, and The Rudy Vallee Show, all the way to September 30, 1962, when the last episode of Johnny Dollar was broadcast. Over these 33 years, shows like Fibber McGee and Molly, Lux Radio Theater, The Bob Hope Show, Abbott and Costello, You Bet Your Life, Gunsmoke, Dr. Kildare, and The Sixty-Four Thousand Dollar Question dominated the airwaves. The shows captured the hearts and imaginations of Americans from coast to coast. It was a time when families would gather 'round the radio, that "magic box" that had the mysterious power to snatch laughter, tears, drama, thrills and adventure out of the air and bring it into our homes. Head back to the past with Stantons 4th Wall and witness some of these greats brought to life again. As a member of the WS4Ws Studio Audience you will witness firsthand the behind the scenes and on-air magic that made these shows and this age unforgettable.
