Join Lisa Taylor, author of the Maritime Northwest Garden Guide and Your Farm in the City; An Urban Dwellers Guide to Growing Food and Raising Animals and garden educator extraordinaire for an in-person edible garden walk and talk all putting your garden to bed for the season. Learn about essential fall garden chores that help build soil, slow stormwater runoff and combat pests and disease while increasing the attractiveness of your fall garden. Well explore what to plant in fall for spring abundance. We will also talk about what to do with late fall fruit and vegetable harvests.
