Seminar Topic: "You're Looking Good, Concrete!": Successful Exposed Concrete Finishes.

Presenters: Paul Coviello of the Concrete Polishing Council of the American Concrete Contractors' Association and Seth Taylor and Craig Morris of Ardex.

Summary: What you need to know to design, specify and construction decorative concrete finishes that will meet the expectations of you and your clients for appearance and durability. Topics will include understanding the specifications for cast-in-place concrete that affect the final appearance, slab finishes, decorative finishes, Paul Coviello from CPC will discuss concrete polishing in depth. Also discussed will be the conditions of existing concrete slabs and options for repair or remediation. Case studies will highlight best practices from our experienced presenters who will give you plenty of opportunity to ask questions. A hands-on demonstration from the folks of Ardex will enhance your learning experience.

The Charleston Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute is an approved continuing education provider for AIA.
