Synopsis:
Sergio Zúñiga is an idealist who has created a project for indigenous children of Oaxaca so that their can come true dreams through basketball. For years, the Indigenous Academy of Mexico (AIM) has allowed children to recognize that study and sport should be their main weapons to break the cycle of poverty that surrounds them. Bernabé, Tobías and Aniceto are a central part of this effort that has led them to achieve international triumphs accumulated since their early childhood and which resonate in the collective memory thanks to its great presence in the media. Today, these three warriors are running out of time to achieve their college dream. They continue to fight on the court to show that what they lack in size, they make up for in strength and mental stamina. The achievements of the AIM have facilitated the growth of the program and the incorporation of new generations of players, such as Gustavo, and coaches, such as Sebastián; who show us that with teamwork, heart and strength, they are defeating their most powerful rival: hunger.
