Carmina Burana is based on a set of over 1000 songs written by the Goliards, a group of poet-musicians who wanted to celebrate the joys of the tavern, nature, love, and lust. Carl Orff gathered 24 of these songs and set them to music in a scenic cantata that is nearly impossible to categorize. We will feature pieces from each of the three main sections of the work: Spring, In the Tavern, and Love.
Due to limited seating, ticket sales will continue at the door pending availability.
Masks are required for admittance.
