The electrifying Michelle Alany will lead the singing (Yiddish, English, Ladino, Roma!) with vocals & violin, Dan Cantrell will delight you with accordion, piano & vocals (many languages); Andrew Alikhanov will melt your mind and heart with clarinet; and Aharon Wheels Bolsta will set your feet flying and booty shaking with percussion and drums, with bassist Chris Kee hailing from Siskiyou county and local luminaries "Plan Be": Stefan and Cyrise Beatty Shacter and AWB playing some opening songs!
The music will be a mix of original and traditional Jewish (Sephardic and Klezmer); Balkan and Roma but with some mixed style originals by both Dan and Michelle.
This is a collaboration for Michelle's "Nefesh Joykestra", Dan Cantrell's the Danistan Meta-Sequitur" and Aharon's "Music from the Ancestors".
