Tony Furtado Duo feat. Luke Price at Martin Scott Winery, Wenatchee

Tony Furtado and Luke Price (3 time national fiddle champion) to perform 2 full sets of folk/Americana/Bluegrass inspired original and traditional music at the beautiful Martin Scott Winery.

*Gates Open 5pm
*General Admission Lawn seating.
*Blankets, Camp Chairs and outside food permitted. NO OUTSIDE BEVERAGES. Beer on tap, water and wine can be purchased in the Tasting room.
*Show 7-9. Gates locked at 10pm
*Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times. This is a 30 acre working vineyard and unsupervised children have been known to wander into the vines and get lost!

Very few musicians of any stripe so personify a musical genre as completely as Tony Furtado embodies Americana roots music. Tony is an evocative and soulful singer, a wide-ranging songwriter and a virtuoso multi-instrumentalist adept on banjo, cello-banjo, slide guitar and baritone ukulele who mixes and matches sounds and styles with the flair of a master chef (hes also an accomplished sculptor, but thats another story). All of the music of America is in Tonys music. Relix hit the nail on the head when writing of Tony: True talent doesnt need categories.

Luke Price is a multi-instrumentalist known for his balance of taste, rhythm, and technical ability. At the age of 7, Luke began competing in fiddle contests, winning the National Title at ages 12 and 17. Since then, hes won numerous awards, including Fiddlers Frolics and the Grand Masters. In 2014, he became the National Old-Time Fiddling Grand Champion, duplicating this fete in 2015 and again in 2017!. After completing his B.A. in Professional Music at Berklee College of Music, Luke moved to Portland, OR where he records and performs with his band, Dean, and collaborates with a host of other musicians.
