Messiah Sing Along

Arts at Old First, in cooperation with Congregation Beth Elohim, the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, and the Brooklyn Community Chorus, is pleased to present the Second Annual Messiah Sing Along at Congregation Beth Elohim; it is a spectacular holiday musical event in Park Slope Brooklyn bringing a diverse community together in an interfaith celebration.

Join in and sing or just sit back and enjoy selections from Handel's Messiah, conducted by Dorothy Savitch of the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music. Featured soloists will include Alex Richardson (tenor), Donna Breitzer (soprano), Jeff Mandelbaum (countertenor), and Jeff Spurgeon (baritone). Also, featured will be Aleeza Meir (continuo) and instrumentalists from the Brooklyn Conservatory Community Orchestra.

Audience members will be seated according to their range. Scores (Watkins Shaw edition, published by Novello) will be available for purchase in advance at the Community Bookstore, 143 7th Ave., between Garfield and 1st St, in Park Slope, and a limited number of scores will also be available for purchase at the event itself.

All proceeds for the Messiah Sing Along at Congregation Beth Elohim will benefit Old First's Restoration Fund.
