Portrait Concert: Bethany Younge
Bethany Younge's acoustic and electronic music explores the manifold kinesthetic properties of musical performance. For her, the act of music-making cannot be divorced from the physical presence of the human instigator. Her works often incorporate instrumental deconstruction, exaggerated movement, motion tracking, sounding costumes, and/or other aesthetic devices to sonically heighten corporeal expressivity.
As part of the 2021 Twin Cities New Music Festival, Bethany Younge's music will be screened at Studio Z.

At the entrance of the building, there are two sets of doors that must be opened manually. Once through those, the elevators are straight ahead. Studio Z is on the 2nd floor.
Accessible bathrooms are located on the 2nd floor, the same floor as Studio Z.
All of Studio Z is on one level, including the stage.
Seating in Studio Z is not fixed. It can be moved to fit any accessibility need.
