Intersections Within the Transgender, Gender Nonconforming & Non-binary Community: A Panel Discussion
Zoom Event, March 31, 2:00-3:00pm EDT
Compartir este evento

You and your colleagues are invited to a panel discussion in celebration of International Transgender Day of Visibility. Discover the wide array of intersections and diversity within the trans, gender non-conforming and non-binary (TGNCNB) community. Get equipped to be strong allies for gender diverse people--and employees who are their loved ones--in your workplace.

The corporate employees on this panel will share from their perspectives as:
- a Black, bilingual, biracial, Millennial trans woman
- a trans man who immigrated to the US from Russia as a teen
- a Black, gender nonconforming spouse, parent and veteran
- a Hispanic, multiracial father of a transgender child

If you are registering for multiple attendees, please note that you will need to include an email address for each attendee where they can receive an email the day before the event with instructions on how to access the panel discussion.

The panel is hosted by Transformation Journeys Worldwide (TJWW), an award-winning inclusion training and consulting firm with a trans, gender nonconforming and non-binary focus. Learn more about TJWW at https://TransformationJourneysWW.com

PANELISTS:

Dionne Kettl is a bilingual, Black, biracial, Millennial trans woman. Along with being an HR manager at PSSI, she provides TGNCNB inclusion training as an associate at Transformation Journeys Worldwide. Dionne serves as co-founder and Deputy Director of TRANScending Barriers Atlanta, a Black trans-led 501c3 whose mission is to uplift and empower Georgia's TGNCNB community. In 2020, Dionne was honored as the OUT Georgia Business Alliance's Next-Gen Emerging LGBTQ+ Leader of the Year.

Leo Abramov is a queer, white, trans man who works as an Implementation Consultant at Sun Life, one of the largest life insurance companies in the world. After immigrating to the US from Russia at the age of 13, he slowly gained exposure to the more open and accepting American culture, which allowed him to discover his authentic self. Leo enjoys camping, hiking, baking cakes and spending time with his fiancée and their pets.

Ray Robinson, a gender non-conforming, Black lesbian, is a West Point grad, best-selling author and Senior Manager, Technology at Cox Communications. To best equip Ray for Ray's soul mission to help individuals find their purpose, Ray went to seminary, achieving an M.Div. in Practical Theology and an M.A. in Organizational Leadership. Almost an empty nester, Ray's main hobby is Ray's spiritual journey to heal the Earth and its people-one person at a time.

Adolfo Aguirre is a straight, cisgender, multiracial, Hispanic father of a transgender teen. A Diversity, Equity and Inclusion professional for The Home Depot, Adolfo serves on the Board of Directors for the National Hispanic Corporate Council and served as Advisory Board President for the Georgia Diversity Council. Born in Caracas, Venezuela, his family moved to Miami when he was 10 years old (GO DOLPHINS!). Adolfo is a Little League head coach, and "Inside Out" group leader for freshmen boys at Woodstock City Church.
