Northumberland CONNECT: Resilience in Uncertainty
Times have never been more uncertain, with the landscape constantly shifting and challenges we are all facing are ever increasing. This 2hour workshop, delivered via Zoom by theatre, drama and creative learning charity Mortal Fools, focuses on the skills you need to boost your personal resilience, manage your stress and focus positive mental health strategies to help you grow and thrive whilst navigating the uncertainty we all face.
In this workshop, you will consider the ways our brains and bodies work against us in stressful situations, with particular emphasis on situations where we have a lack of control. We will take you on a practical exploration of the stress response, touching on neuroscience and psychological theory to deepen our understanding and learn practical ways to recognise and then outsmart our natural tendencies.
Session is £8 per person and is open to freelancers living and/or working in Northumberland.
This session is part of Creative Catalyst Northumberland; a professional development training programme for Northumberland creative organisations and freelancers to encourage listening, learning, personal growth, change and allyship.
Creative Catalyst Northumberland is led on by Mortal Fools and supported by Northumberland NCC, Queens Hall, Hexham and The Maltings, Berwick.
