Thanks for your interest in Catie Curtis and Strings Attached concerts benefiting Urban Ministries of Durham. Visit www.stphilipsdurham.org for more information. Make plans to join us on Valentine's Day, Friday, February 14, at 7 PM, for our next concert benefiting Urban Ministries of Durham. We'll have Nashville, TN-based indie singer/songwriter and UMC Pastor Sherry Cothran in a show she calls "Love Songs & Other Stories from the Untamed Women of the Old Testament." Sherry used to be in the alt-rockers The Evinrudes and now incorporates her great voice and songwriting with her ecumenical work. Should be provocative and wonderful! Get on our mailing list by emailing StringsAttachedDurham@gmail.com to be first to know!

Catie Curtis Concert Benefiting UMD, 1/24
"Catie Curtis sings in soft, yearning tones that are both modest and alarmingly direct." -Los Angeles Times

"Catie Curtis is a bit surprising. She's all the things you might expect from a New England singer-songwriter: smart, thoughtful, soft-spoken. But, then, she's also something you wouldn't expect..a little dark." -Washington Post

"Catie Curtis has always been a pop-leaning writer in folk clothing. Her vivid songwriting combines insightful lyrics with soulful strumming and energy." -Telluride Watch

"New England singer-songwriter Catie Curtis been heralded in equal measure for her close-to-the-bone songwriting and robust, clear voice." -Philadelphia City Paper

Strings Attached Productions presents singer/songwriter Catie Curtis performing songs examining the human condition in all its forms.

Catie has the voice and delivery that stops people in the middle of whatever they might be doing. That's not just some PR line. It happened to me the first time I heard her. And the second. And it happened to Lydia Hutchinson publisher/editor of Performing Songwriter magazine. And it happened to the guy who would sign Catie to Guardian Records. Maybe it's happened to you, too.

We'll have beer from Bull City Burger and Brewery, one of Durham's top breweries, plus wine, sodas/water and special snacks! We also provide childcare, although well-behaved kids are encouraged to attend the concert. We're near Durham's best restaurants and food trucks and on the Bull City Connector. Plus we have plenty of free parking. So no excuses! C'mon out to the Parish Hall of St. Philip's in downtown Durham for some great music, great beer, and a great cause!

All Strings Attached profits benefit Urban Ministries of Durham (umdurham.org).
