This course is designed to produce student proficiency in the performance of duties associated with the Wildland Firefighter Type 2 position from initial dispatch through demobilization to the home unit. This course uses a blended approach to learning. Students are required to complete the online training portion of the course and pass an online assessment prior to taking the Instructor Led Training (ILT). Upon completion of the ILT, students must then take and pass a final assessment in order to receive credit for the course. Students will receive a DPSST Notice of Course Completion upon successful completion of the class.
