Online Fall Liqueur-Making Workshop with Sarah Cain
Liqueurs are another great way to preserve your backyard fruit or favorite farmers market fruit. Like 'Farm to Table" - you'll love "Farm to Glass!" This is a hands on make-n-take style class with a liberal dose of beverage lore thrown in, too! Your instructor Sarah has been making and teaching liqueur-making for 20 years.
Online Fall Liqueur-Making Workshop with Sarah Cain Thursday, December 3rd 2020, 6-7:30pm Class is $24.99. You'll also spend between $15-25 for the materials, depending on what you might already have.
Pre-registration required
Class size limited to 10+/- people (so I can make sure to be able to interact with you all!)
We'll be using Zoom for this class, so you will need to set that up in advance on your computer/ipad. It's very easy and free. I can help you in advance with that if you need it.
Class Description:
Liqueurs & cordials are a great way to preserve your backyard fruit or favorite farmers market fruit. They make great gifts, and are an excellent excuse to use those beautiful glass decanters and liqueur glasses you own (or purchase them at thrift and gift shops)!
And FALL, with it's great bounty, is here! is here! During this class you'll make either a Limoncello (Lemon with a vodka base), Lime, Pear, Cactus/Prickly Pear or Cranberry Liqueur. We'll also discuss aftercare for your liqueurs & other simple equipment you'll need later on.
This is a hands on make-n-take style class with a liberal dose of beverage lore thrown in, too! Your instructor Sarah has been making and teaching liqueur-making for 20 years. She's made liqueurs professionally for restaurants and has won multiple ribbons for them at the Alameda County Fair. She's also a former organic farmer & a former sommelier.
