Musicollaborative Music FUNdamentals for Children Ages 4-6
Facilitated by Elementary & Early Childhood Music Specialist Kaya Martínez
Hosted by the Annette West Music Studio
(in uptown New Orleans near Tipitina's)
This 5-week series is designed for young children to enjoy listening, singing, moving, playing and creating together in a small, mixed-age peer group setting. All sessions integrate hand percussion, facilitate improvisation, and time is allowed for free exploration as well. The carefully selected and diverse repertoire emphasizes positive vibrations drawn from Blues, Jazz, Afro-Caribbean and Latin grooves, as well as other soulful sounds of the Crescent City and South Louisiana.
Please note that refunds are not available after session 1; however we will work with you to reschedule if you have to miss a week.
