What Are Saturday Seminars?
"Saturday Seminars" are monthly 75-90 minute online workshops that spotlight the impact of sharing children's learning, offered by storytellers from different communities. Designed as lead-up to the Learning Stories Conference https://hilltopcc.com/institute/lsc21/, these monthly workshops from September 2020 and May 2021 are designed to remind us to pay attention to and reflect on the voices of children. These seminars will feature voices, stories, and the lived experiences from educators around the country.

Stories doesn't have to end in the classroom. There are stories that prompts adults to think deeper and expand our learning. This session highlights a parallel process. One in which honors and respects the stories of children and the adult that interacts with them.
This 75 minute workshop is an examination of ourselves. We'll study stories of other educators, coaches, program leaders, and of course, children, to support us in our growth as practitioners. Join us as we promote our growth so we can
better support the diverse children and families we partner with.
Why I Should Attend:
Parallel process can also help us reflect on how we interact with teachers. With a focus on adult learning, we'll focus on how we can support ourselves and colleagues emotionally, organizationally, intellectually, and pedagogically.
