WORKSHOP by Michael Conforti: Voices of the Self and the Objective Psyche
It was the brilliance of Jung, M.L. von Franz and the early Jungians that helped us to see that in addition to our conscious perceptions, and biases, there exists a level of psyche that transcends both.  It is here in this domain of  soul that we recognize the dream as a contemporary experience of divine and spiritual intervention, and may come to an understanding of this life journey which allows us to connect to the eternal cycles of life and to see beyond the veil of temporal reality into what may be understood as our destiny. Perhaps one of the greatest messages of the dream is to help us see if we have "really shown up for our life" (Hollis, 2013) and ways for promoting a deeper relationship to the Self.

Dr. Michael Conforti is a Jungian analyst and the founder and Director of The Assisi Institute. He has been a faculty member at the Jung Institute Boston and Jung Foundation of New York. A pioneer in the field of matter-psyche studies, Dr. Conforti investigates the workings of archetypal fields and the relationship between Jungian psychology and science. He lectures worldwide. He is the author of Threshold Experiences: The Archetype of Beginnings (2007) and Field, Form and Fate: Patterns in Mind, Nature and Psyche.

Participants will learn the skills of discerning the relationship and difference between the eternal and archetypal meaning of images and ways to understand the central issue presented in the dream. Emphasis will be placed on the opening of the dream- The Exposition and Threshold and the Lysis - the solution offer in the dream.
