Park City Film is partnering with Basin Recreation and Prospector Square Property Owners Association to present the award winning MERU as a drive-in movie experience in Lot K in Prospector Square (1920 Prospector Ave). Enjoy a fun night under the stars with your family and quaran-team from the comfort and safety of your car! Ticket proceeds will benefit Basin Recreation's Youth Scholarship program.
About MERU
After suffering dramatic setbacks in their lives, three close friends who are among the worlds best professional climbers battle their complicated pasts, inner demons and natures harshest elements in an attempt to confront the Sharks Fin on Mount Meru, the most technically complicated and dangerous peak in the Himalayas, one that has never been scaled to completion.
Featuring Conrad Anker, Jimmy Chin and Renan Ozturk. Winner of the 2015 Sundance Film Festival Audience Award, U.S. Documentary. Rated R (for language), 90min.
TICKETING NOTES:
- Tickets are priced per car (up to 4 people, additional passengers can be added for $5/each).
- Spaces for cars are limited to 25 and front row car tickets are available for a premium ticket price (height restrictions apply).
- All patrons must arrive in a vehicle - bikes, scooters and walk-ups will not be allowed due to COVID-19 restrictions.
COVID-19 Requirements:
In order to insure the safety and well-being of our community during the COVID-19 pandemic, the following rules must be followed. Non-compliance will result in immediate expulsion from the event without a refund.
Vehicles spots will be designated to allow for social distancing between cars and groups. Attendees are requested to stay within their designated space. We require all people to wear a face mask if they choose to be out of their vehicles. Please adhere to the rules we know: maintain a distance of 6 feet from others not in your immediate friend/family group, use a face mask in group settings and anytime you are outside your vehicle, wash hands using soap and/or use hand sanitizer. Above all else, we ask that you use common sense and respect the well-being of those around you.
Please do not come if you are sick, or experiencing any COVID symptoms. We will refund your ticket purchase due to illness, please email Katy Wang (Katy@parkcityfilm.org) if you need to initiate a refund due to illness. We will ask individuals to leave if they are unable or unwilling to abide by the rules. Complete details available on our web site at ParkCityFilm.org.
Doors open at 7pm
Film will start at dusk ~8:45pm.
**Note that ticket refunds will not be issued if the film screening is cancelled due to inclement weather or high winds.
