Samvada - A Unique Experience of Carnatic & Bharatanatyam
When Carnatic Music and Bharatanatyam dance are combined, there are times in which we end up seeing some good music and good dance but rarely something that is closely integrated for the experience
Husband-Wife duo of Vidwan Rithvik Raja and Vidushi Shweta Prachande are coming together to curate a one of a kind event for CFAA.
More about the artists:
Rithvik is a versatile and accomplished musician rooted in the Karnatik tradition, known for his sensitive and thoughtful artistry, and determined focus on aesthetics. He has been under the mentorship of Sri T.M. Krishna for over 18 years. Through continuous introspection, questioning and dedicated work, he has evolved in identity and carved a distinct niche. He has been involved for over a decade with many organisations, working towards creating an ecosystem that is sustainable while creating awareness for the arts.
Shweta is recognised as one of Bharatanatyam's leading young dancers in today's generation. She has been training under Guru Smt. Priyadarsini Govind for over 15 years. Her dance is a concoction of crisp movements, fluidity of motion and energetic dynamism. Having learnt Kalaripayattu and completing a diploma in Contemporary Dance Studies from The Trinity Laban Conservatory of Music and Dance, London, the aesthetic amalgamation of these styles and techniques makes her dance unique and enthralling.
All registered attendees will receive the link to connect to the event online by Aug 14th, 2020
