drag queen bingo with DIXIE
Hello, my name is Kimberly Kennedy and I am the mom of a beautiful 11-year-old little girl named Chelsi, who needs your help getting the funds needed to cover her medical testing phases and medicines that are not covered by insurance. Chelsi was diagnosed with a Mokiu angiocentric brain tumor with multiple cancer properties when she was 2 years old and has gone through 14 months of chemotherapy, 22 MRIs, 11 EEGs, 2 biopsies, 19 CT scans, 32 hospital stays, yes, we have tried CBD oils and drops ( both synthetic and pure), a broken femur due to weakness of her skeletal structure after Chemotherapy, and is on 5 different seizure medicines daily and still continues to take 5/8 seizures a day nothing seems to work completely control her seizures. On May 27, 2017 while my family was attending a baseball tournament for my son in Cleveland Ohio, Chelsi took a seizure and fell into a swimming pool and drowned, thankfully a young boy spotted her and yelled for help, the baseball coaches there, thankfully were able to start CPR and get her breathing till the Paramedics arrived and rushed her to Ahuja Medical Center for 8 hours to stabilize her, then transported her to Rainbow Babies Childrens Hospital, upon arriving there Chelsis lungs werent holding air on their own and the chlorine had formed pockets in and around her other organs and she was placed on a ventilator and induced into medical coma, for 9 days, then spent another 29 days there, before returning to Pittsburgh and spending another 18 at Childrens Hospital During all this we were by her side and away from our home and our other 3 children. Now We have been informed that there is a series of testing called Phase testing, these tests are used to map the brain and pinpoint where an inoperable tumor is putting pressure, so this can be relieved and hopefully stop some of these seizures for Chelsi, because as she gets closer to puberty these seizures could become stroke like. But here is the problem these tests are only experimental and NOT covered by insurance so the out of pocket expense is greater than we can afford, there are 5 parts to this Phase testing and each part will cost us about $8200.00 out of pocket, we have taken loans and are at risk of losing our home because many months we cant afford to pay our bills so Chelsi has her medicine, To top all of this off last year a fundraiser was held for Chelsi and a long time family friend stole the proceeds. These tests are very important to Chelsis survival and future and we are asking for your help financially
