The act of suspension is hanging the body from hooks pierced through the flesh in various places around the body. What is hook suspension all about? Discover the personal expansion and energy exchange that can be obtained through suspension.
There are many different reasons to suspend. The reasons extend from wanting a pure adrenaline or endorphin rush, to conquering ones fears, to trying to reach a new level of spiritual consciousness. People suspend to attain some sort of experience: a deeper sense of themselves, a spiritual encounter, or a letting go not being complete inside their body. Some are looking to take control over their bodies, or are seeking to prove to themselves that they can live beyond the physical, perhaps disconnect from their bodies completely. Finally, some simply seek to explore the unknown.

The class overviews how to prepare yourself and what to expect from flying in hooks. Demystifying the materials and equipment used.

The items talked about are based on updated industry standards, regulations, and safety in mind. Please ask your questions, so that we cover what is relevant for what you are in need of. So during the Zoom Conference The_Carine will take the time to address any of those questions you might have. Tom "The Carnie" Hill

Experienced and licensed professional that has been working in the industry performing body piercings and body modifications since 2010. I have toured all over the country with national tattoo conventions, as well as lectured on Hook Suspension and Needle Play showcasing those skills nationwide. To me, it's not just another piercing, loyalty is key with my clients and believe each clients experience is unique and personal. Therefore, the specifics and details of each client's modification are not only important, but is the basis of my quality work and open minded attitude when providing them with personal fine body art.

I am also a performer and owner of an entertainment company featuring acts of: Circus, Fire, Fetish, Sideshow & Suspension.
My company performs all over Chicago and the country demonstrating these acts.
