Romain (Melvil Poupaud) is a handsome Parisian with what looks, at first glance, like a pretty nice life: an adoring younger boyfriend (Christian Sengewald), a cool job as a fashion photographer, a spacious if somewhat disheveled loft apartment. While it turns out that this life to say nothing of the man living it is far from perfect, it is the only one Romain has, and for most of Time to Leave (Le Temps Qui Reste), he must face the certainty that it will soon be over.
