Chickenshed Players VIP (Virtual Inclusive Program)-May Mini Session

Join our Saturday theatre classes and become a member of our Chickenshed Players inclusive theatre community! Our May Virtual Inclusive Program (VIP) gives you four fun and interactive classes, led by our team of specially trained teaching artists. You'll be with peers your own age and will learn storytelling, character development, music, movement, and even theatrical sign language (ASL).

Using a secure Zoom platform, our classes feature a high teacher-to-student ratio and include small group breakouts, so you will have direct interaction with professional actor-teachers, as well as your new friends.

Best of all, EVERYONE is a VIP and can participate! we are audition-free and fully inclusive for kids and teens of all abilities and backgrounds. (For scholarship assistance, please email Ali@chickenshednyc.org)

Classes are on May 9, May 16, May 23, and May 30, at the following times:

Chickenshed Players VIP 1 (ages 5-8): 11:00-11:45 AM
Chickenshed Players VIP 2 (ages 9-12): 12:30-1:45 PM
Chickenshed Players VIP 3 (ages 13+): 12:30-1:45 PM

Classes are very affordable: all four sessions for just $75.00 for CP 1 (ages 5-8) and $100 for CP 2 and 3 (ages 9-13+).

About Chickenshed NYC: we are the American cousin of London's Chickenshed Theatre Company, which for 45 years has been creating inclusive theatre by and for kids of all abilities and backgrounds. It was literally founded in a donated chicken shed--hence the name!
