Folk music, like any art form, can be enjoyed without being understood. Fans of LJ Booth, however, seem to instinctively know why his songs have such appeal Some of them we call them "critics" hit the proverbial nail on the head with observations such as: "...this gifted singer-songwriter's...keen fascination with life's journey draws listeners closer to the memories and revelations that make it worth traveling;" "A master craftsman of incredibly profound songs;" "hilarious, outrageous, inspirational;" "nothing but buried treasure;" "A fantastic collection of tunes that reveal the breadth of LJ's understanding;" "Simply great music!" As an added bonus to his fans, LJ shares some of the serendipitous occurrences and mysteries of writing.
