Kathryn McDaniel is the Partnerships & Development Manager at PEPY Empowering Youth. She identifies and builds funding/skill development partnerships for PEPY. Kathryn is the only foreign staff person on a team of 17 dedicated and passionate Cambodians, seeking to improve education systems and opportunities for rural students.
Kathryn will give a brief overview of the current education structures and systems in Cambodia, and why Cambodian education is still behind its neighboring SE Asian countries. She will also discuss the work that PEPY is doing and how our team's projects have had a tangible and powerful impact in rural communities.
We meet 6:45pm for 7:00pm at Playwright Tavern, 202 W 49th St, New York, NY (Corner Broadway and 7th Ave).
