Plates for Parks - Season Pass
Celebrate Jersey City's dynamic food scene and enjoy six delicious three-course meals, one in each city ward. All proceeds will support the Jersey City Parks Coalition in our mission to empower residents to develop, renovate, use and maintain their community parks and public spaces of Jersey City; thereby revitalizing neighborhoods and lifting communal and human spirits. Proceeds of the Plates 4 Parks series go directly back to the Parks Coalition to help assist in the programming of environmental, educational, family friendly events as well as the care and maintenance of Jersey Citys parks and public spaces. As an added incentive, our sponsor The Ashford / Six26 will be hosting an exclusive wrap up party for the series - official date to follow, where sponsors, member park representatives, and season pass ticket holders will be able to celebrate cuisine, community, and conversation.
What if I have tickets but I cant attend the event?
Due to the nature of our events, we are unable to offer refunds. However, you are welcome to transfer your tickets to someone else. Please contact us at least 24 hours before the event with the new guests name and information.
What should I wear to a P4P event?
Our dinners take place in local parks on natural terrain. Please dress accordingly and remember to wear comfortable shoes.
What if it rains?
All events are rain or shine. In the case of rain, we will look to move the event to a shelter elsewhere in Jersey City. Be sure to check the weather and in case of rain, keep a look out for an email letting you know what the venue change is.
What if I arrive late?
Meal starts at 6PM for dinner / 12PM for Brunch SHARP! The chefs cannot be responsible for late arrivals. If you do arrive late you will be served whatever course is being served at the time of your arrival and miss out on previous courses.
Will I be able to see a copy of the menu before I arrive at the dinner?
The menu is revealed at the table. Our guest chefs design the menu in the weeks or days leading up to the event. We like to keep the meal artistic and spontaneous!
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions or food allergies?
Our dinners are best suited for flexible, adventurous eaters! Due to the nature of a shared meal, we are only able to accommodate limited dietary requests, for example, a vegetarian diet. If you have other dietary limitations please email us at gardensteaks@gmail.com in advance of your event for inquiries.
