Prepping Nature Photos for Competition
Gabis Arboretum at Purdue Northwest continues its Nature on Display series with a session on competitive nature photography. Opportunities for competing with nature-themed photography abound for the amateur photographer. About Your Instructor: Deb started shooting film SLR (Single lens reflex) cameras in the 1980's and began shooting digital SLR cameras in the 90's. She has shot weddings, events, portraits, family, and products for many years and has been involved in several local photo clubs for the past 15 years. Deb has taught various classes on photography, camera functions, composition, digital editing, file management and workflow, as well as creativity! She has competed in several photo competitions and also judged competitions for local photo clubs as well as the Porter County Master Gardeners.
