Lunch with a Leader: Roxanne Bryson

Leadership Kitsap Alumni Association's Lunch With A Leader series is designed to benefit all Leadership Kitsap Alumni. Join our regional leaders for lunch and hear the stories of their leadership journeys. The conversations will be organic, thought-provoking, and alumni-led. Lunches are quarterly. We will take the first 12 alumni to sign up.

ROXANNE BRYSON - Bryson serves as Executive Director for Holly Ridge Center, a private non-profit agency whose mission is to enable children and adults with differing abilities to reach their fullest potential, creating a positive and lasting impact on the community.

Over the years, Bryson has provided leadership and guidance to local coalitions and groups, such as the Ethnic Unity Coalition, Leadership Kitsap, Olympic Kitsap Peninsula Early Learning Coalition & Infant Toddler DEL work group, Parent Coalitions, Partnership 2020, and local chambers of commerce. She was instrumental in creating partnerships with local non-profits to reduce duplication of services and moving the community to one-stop shopping and improving access to multiple service providers.

Bryson developed the first Primary Health Care Clinic for low-income uninsured in Kitsap County, Peninsula Community Health Services. She also helped develop Kitsap Countys first emergency housing program in collaboration with St. Vincent de Paul, and has been involved in many ongoing community services from Women Infants and Children supplemental feeding program to the Christmas Angel Program.

Roxanne is a 1997 graduate of Leadership Kitsap and 2015 recipient of the Leadership Kitsap Outstanding Alumni Award. After leading the nonprofit neurodevelopment center for 30 years. Bryson is set to retire April 2020. www.hollyridge.org.

While there is NO CHARGE for this opportunity for our alumni, if you do not show and do not cancel within 12 hours of the event, you will be charged $15 for your lunch. We anticipate a waiting list and people would value the chance to attend that were not able to be one of the first 12.
