"Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike" by Christopher Durang - A Night at the Theater with The Art School
On Thursday, May 7, The Art School at Old Church will hold a fundraising event in partnership with Bergen County Players! This event is to both gather our arts community together as well as raise much-needed funding for the school.
BCP will put on a special benefit performance of their upcoming production of "Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike" on Thursday, May 7 at 8:00pm for friends of The Art School.
Tickets are $35 per person and include a pre-show wine and cheese reception at 7:00pm. All proceeds benefit The Art School at Old Church, a 501c-3 organization.

This six-time Tony Award nominee (and winner of Best Play of 2013) brilliantly and hilariously sends up many of Anton Chekhovs best-known plays and characters. Sharply written by the master of the absurd (The Actors Nightmare, Beyond Therapy), the story is made up of scattered bits of Chekhov run through a contemporary plot processor, (but) even if youve never read a word of (his) youll find plenty to make you laugh. About The Art School...
Founded in 1974, The Art School at Old Church is a non-profit cultural center providing community access to enriching experiences in the arts. The school offers art classes and workshops as well as free gallery exhibitions, cultural events, and outreach programs for special populations. It houses two art galleries: the Mikhail Zakin Gallery and the Café Gallery. The Annual Pottery Show & Sale is an opportunity to view and purchase one-of-a-kind works of art from nationally recognized potters. Proceeds from The Annual Pottery Show & Sale and from Our Thrift Shop, located in Westwood, NJ, benefit The Art School at Old Church.
