Gruesome Playground Injuries
Washington-based theater company Oroboros Theater Productions is thrilled to announcing its inaugural show - "Gruesome Playground Injuries" by Rajiv Joseph.
Join us this spring at the Firehouse Performing Arts Center as we follow 30 years in the lives of two people as the various painful incidents in their lives seem to keep mysteriously bringing them back together. We're so very excited to share this story as it meditates on the themes of pain and healing, and asks how much we can reasonably expect from the people in our lives as we move through our journeys of finding peace and wellness.
Featuring the talents of local actors Olivia Sterne and Will Eames. Olivia currently in her fourth and final year at Western Washington University. You may last have seen her "#heretoo" on the Western Washington University Main Stage or in Sarah Ruhl's "Orlando" last spring at the Sylvia Center for the Arts. Will is also a student at Western Washington University, graduating this spring with a major in Theatre and a concentration in Acting and Playwriting. His recent credits include "#heretoo" at Western, Margaret Edson's "Wit" performed at the Firehouse last summer as part of Fairhaven Summer Repertory Theater, and as Richard in Eugene O'Neil's "Ah, Wilderness" performed last spring as a Western student production.
"Gruesome Playground Injuries" will perform May 28-30 and June 5-6, with a 7:30pm showtime each night. Be sure to mark your calendars! We can't wait to share this production with all of you.
