Lee Moses made one album and recorded about thirty songs. Most of them were covers of other songs.

He became a legend among deep soul record collectors and general music fans. Often compared to James Brown or Jimi Hendrix, his only album Time and Place, was recorded in New York and released in 1971. It was a commercial failure forcing Lee Moses to return to his hometown to never record again. What happened to the man nicknamed the Duke of Soul ?

This is the portrait of a man who was a good friend, a brother and a top-notch musician. Through his music, life and hometown, this is a featured documentary about the life and death of Lee Moses.
