Valentine Romance

Song of the Angels Flute Orchestra under the direction of Charles Fernandez is proud to offer a beautiful afternoon of romantic music and a delicious dessert buffet prepared beautifully by caterer and harp soloist extraordinaire Naomi Alter.

Featured are program selections by Jonathan Cohen, Michael Coolen, John Denver, Charles Fernandez, Kathleen Mayne, Freddie Mercury, W.A. Mozart, Nancy Nourse, and Catherine McMichael, Alexander Molnar-Sahajda, Maurice Ravel and Christina Wetzler. Arranger and conductor Charles Fernandez is premiering his arrangement featuring fabulous San Diego harpist Naomi Alter, clarinetist recording artist Ralph Williams, and SOA founder, flutist Frederick Staff, on Ravel's "Introduction and Allegro." Local area flutists are encouraged to join the orchestra in their closing number of "Perhaps Love" and will be awarded a $10 discount off the ticket price! Our dear friend Naomi Alter on harp is welcome and beautiful addition to the SOA Flute Orchestra.
