Robert "Bob" Powers took over as the 10th General Manager for BART in July of 2019. A 20-year engineering veteran, Bob started his BART career Assistant General Manager in Planning, Development and Construction and now oversees the $2.4 billion BART budget for 2020 which will include early plans for the much needed Second Crossing, TOD project development at the Ashby and North Berkeley BART Stations, 300+ additional rail cars to their Fleet of the Future, continuation of the Systemwide Transbay Corridor Core Capacity Project, and ongoing infrastructure projects using Measure RR funds.
This month's event is at a NEW San Francisco location, City Club, SF on 155 Sansome Street.
