The Voice of Early Childhood in Kansas
Join us for an Early Childhood Advocacy Mini Conference learning to advocate for yourself as a PROFESSIONAL!
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in conversation with the KSDE Early Childhood Director, learn how to give Power to the Profession, and hear from agencies including; Kansas Action for Children and Kansas Head Start Association in their Advocacy 101 Workshop.
The goal of this event is to provide information to early childhood professionals about Power to the Profession(P2P), how Congress works, and building confidence in speaking with representatives. We will facilitate a substantive conversation about the impact of P2P on early childhood educators and gather feedback about the initiative. We will have activities to prepare you in ways your voice can be heard.
Your registration will include a deli sandwich lunch, chips, cookies, and bottled water the day of the event. Certificates for KDHE-approved training hours are given at the end of the event.
