Broom Corn Brooms with Bonnie Kennedy
Each student will make a whisk broom and a cob web broom using real broom corn. Real broom corn brooms are like magic, they are like dust magnets. You will learn the basics of broom making, most of the techniques will be taught at this class. Bonnie Kennedy, instructor, is excited to share her knowledge of this age-old art. If you have a favorite stick about 2-4 feet long, 1" diameter, you can bring it and use it for the handle for the cob web broom; all other supplies will be provided.
This class is appropriate for ages 15+
