PUNSCHI is an action-packed-laughing-good-time performed under a big sun umbrella by second generation puppeteer Jana Zeller and her cast of hand puppet heroes. Inspired by European fairground traditions, PUNSCHI is a call and response piece that puts the children at the edge of their seats as they call out to the hero of the story, Kasper, his endearing friend the giant Augustin, and Grandmother. Musical interludes on the ukulele and general buffoonery accompany this cast in a show that has delighted family audiences for over 35 years! Originally created by Ines Zeller Bass of Sandglass Theater, PUNSCHI is now proudly performed by daughter Jana.
