Bake Oven Baking

Would you like to learn how to bake in a 1700's outdoor bake oven? Join our basic class where you will learn how to safely fire, hoe, and mop a bake oven. We will be making bread, rolls, and other treats. Be sure to bring a light lunch, as well will be sampling the finished products in the afternoon.

Students should wear natural fiber clothes and no hairspray (since it is flammable). You may want to bring an apron, as well.

Maximum # students: 10

Cancellation Policy: All materials must be pre-purchased by the instructor; therefore, cancellations can only be refunded prior to sales-end date. Refunds can be requested through Brown Paper Tickets up to 12 hours after purchase. After that grace period and before the sales-end date, refunds will be issued via a paper check from the Landis Valley Associates, less a $20 non-refundable processing fee. Please contact landisvalley@gmail.com or 717-569-0401 to request your refund. We reserve the right to cancel a class due to insufficient registration. In that case, students can use funds already spent towards the cost of another class or receive a full refund.
