After Sabrina Jacksons 14 year old son is killed by a police officer in a wrongful shooting, she discovers a comic book that he had created, featuring the heroine Black Super Hero Magic Mama. Unable to face her grief, and resisting the pressure from all sides to become the public face of tragedy, she retreats into a fantasy world where she becomes the heroic figure that her son imagined, fighting off super villains like Lady Vulture and Human Hyena. Will Sabrina stay in this dream world or return to reality and mourn her loss?
