Cannabis and hempstill mysterious and confusing to many of us--has now reached mainstream.

What a conundrum: it's still a federal crime to sell or possess cannabis, but under California law it's permitted to do both here.

People are now turning to cannabis-based alternatives for pain management and other health issues.

Your instructor will guide us through this controversial subject. She will provide a brief history of humankinds relationship with cannabis and hemp and about their many uses. Megan will share the regulations surrounding cultivation, manufacture, sale and consumption in California and San Luis Obispo County

Megan Souza has a BA in Philosophy from UCSC. She has been active in the SLO County cannabis and hemp industry for 8 years where she co-owns a cannabis cultivation company, a cannabis retail company, and a hemp retail company.
